227g Comb Honey
Our super limited supply of local comb honey is a perfect example of true raw honey as it comes straight from the hive and is placed in a container with no processing at all. Honeycomb can often have a chewy consistency and more texture than filtered, pure honey. It is entirely safe (and delicious) to consume both the honey and the waxy hexagonal containers of the comb. It is the perfect accompaniment to a cheeseboard or can just be eaten on its own with a spoon. Not suitable for children under 12 months.
Our honey is made from the nectar and pollen of a various local flowers, trees and shrubs collected by our bees around Bolton. It is pure, raw honey. Nothing is added, to keep all of the vital micronutrients that are present when we extract the honey from the hive.
The colour of our local honey will vary from Spring to Summer with the changing seasons and flowers our bees feed on, but predominantly it will be a rich, golden colour and taste fantastic! Our bees favourite forage includes: Willow, Blackberry, Clover, Bramble, Himalayan Balsam, Blackthorn, Hawthorn, Apple blossom, Pear blossom, Cherry blossom, Daisies, Willowherb and several other species of wildflower.
